I love the fact that there are thousands of people who would love to spend more time with their fridge, get notifications on their phone from it, constantly check the screen to remember what’s inside and they’ll pay three times the amount of a regular fridge to do so. Complete madness, I love it.

Bought it. Love it so far. The spherical ice cubes are the best. This is the first time my refrigerator is actually organized. Lots of room and everything stays fresher, longer. Love the app interface as well. Well designed.

Bought it, Worth every penny!!! I was originally going to buy the instaview but I'm glad I saw this. I originally saw the instaview and really liked it but I couldn't find one with a water dispenser locally but my local Lowes had this fridge in stock and It was a little over my budget but i honestly think its a nice buy, I use my kitchen a ton so its an added bonus.

I'm actually looking for a new fridge and would love to get this. I love the craft ice feature! Unfortunately, the serviceability for LG where I live is basically nonexistent as many repair businesses stopped supporting many LG and Samsung products.

I bought the sister model, everything is the exact same except the Round ice. I love mine, keeps food longer than anything I've ever seen. I wanted the spherical ice, but for a thousand bucks more, NOPE! These LGs we're nearly 5k when they came out. I bought a 7 year warranty just in case. Anyway, love mine!! Stunning fridges...

It's missing tw-three things actually: a tv or screen to connect to your phone so you can all watch the news in the morning on the fridge(not like there's anything on the news except the world ending), a camera inside the fridge and freezer so you can see what you need, and an automatic or voice controlled door closing operation

I had an LG fridge with linear compressor that died gradually over 5 years. As an engineer, I decided to repair it as a project and learn about refrigeration systems. When changing the compressor out, I found black powder within the refrigeration lines. It is the root cause of the compressor failure and a sign of a manufacturing issue: no inert gas purging when the lines were brazed causing oxidation of the copper lines. Anyone with just basic understandings of refrigeration system would know that, so it is hard to believe such mistakes can be made in a factory with good quality control, or it was done on purpose for build-in obsolescence. A casual search on google will show you how unreliable LG refrigerators are.

Rabbit clear ice trays - about 20-30 dollars. Use bottled water, boil it in a clean pot(you can boil it twice for optimal results this removes excess air) freeze immediately, don't move it until it finishes freezing solid.

The house we currently own was the first home we moved into right after undergrad. It came with a fridge so we never had to purchase one. Anywho, my mom was in need of a new one and we offered to give her ours and we would just purchase a new one for ourselves. I had no idea they were that expensive 😫😂. Have had fridge for about 6 months. Just saw my ice ball maker arm was in lowered position with 1 ball stuck in it. Pulled the ball out. The arm does not seem to be raising itself. Got nervous about it running water to fill tray so I turned the craft ice off. Will the arm go back up if I turn it on again?

We have LG LRMDC2306S. During first month we’ve had 4 service visits for craft ice maker not working. Each service call reveals the water feed line to the ice maker is frozen solid although the freezer temp is set at +4F. We added two thermometers into the freezer that log temp and they both show 4F so temp sensor is good. Does the craft ice maker line have a heater/defrost? Latest tech wants to switch out water feed line but by this point we have zero confidence LG know how to build a fridge.

Is there a way to make ice ball maker bottom arm pop open? I think mine is jammed. It keeps making half balls and leaking extra water into the tray freezing everything together.

No dought great much more to graphics but is it repairable? Then less use for subcontinent.

Nice fridge...my LG was 3000.00$ and I paid cash thinking that I would get 10 years minimum...did not even get 5 years and the paint was rusty under the water dispenser in less than 2 of those years. I did my research and found there are very few expensive refrigerators that are also dependable. Now I have a cheap basic fridge. Lesson? Life is Good when you can depend upon your appliances being an investment instead of an expense.

Video says up to 90% clarity for the craft ice. My brand new LG fridge the craft ice balls are only clear about halfway up and have a big flat spot/divot on top. Is that normal or should I be expecting better?
