That is a Brazilian phrase that resume this, it translates to something like " what is a little fart for someone who already shiten themselves "

In episode 4 we see that this isn't his castle, it's the church where his vampire buddies reside. So he walked in on them on accident, got bitten, presumably ran away, then turned into a vampire and decided "cool, now I get someone to hang out with".

​@@thatmoviegirl3814 Not confirmed, no, but it's heavily implied in 'Dead Mom" that Dukes mother was killed by a vampire and after that his dad became obsessed with hunting them down.

As the sounds and colors grew muted, he might think that he never got a chance to reconcile with his father, and worse that his father was right; a vampire essentially ripped his throat out and his father hunted them... Somewhat averted since he became a vampire almost immediately after which would have been the more pressing issue, and he later revels in his new identity.

There are worse things one could endure.

Sometimes I feel like I've been turned into a monster just like Duke! I know he has a very complicated life especially ever since his mom died because my mother died this year! Missi on the other hand she had family issues too because her mother never wanted her to have a cat in her family! And Duke and Missi are a good couple and I identify with both of them! When I was a teenager I was never into vampires until then when I've heard of the story of Petit vampire ever heard of that? He was a little vampire but he was kind of cute for a kids Vampire! He even has a friend Michel a ten-year-old boy who was an orphan! And I don't blame Little Vampire for wanting a friend he's just like Casper only Casper is a friendly Ghost and you know what Little Vampire is! And I have a feeling that he never wanted to bite anybody because just because he's a vampire doesn't mean he bites people or sucks blood he only likes being friendly! And sometimes I wish I could cuddle with him! Also he had a mother who is also a vampire Pandora! My mother may be dead but sometimes I wish I can make a painting on mother's Day to send by her grave! Unfortunately for me she didn't go to a graveyard she was turned to dust and sent by the beach! And my older sister and I began to cry and we had to say goodbye to your mother forever! Sometimes I wish I had a friend who was also into vampires no matter how disturbing it is! 😿😿😿😿😿😿😿😢😢😢😢😢😭😭
