Dort is just the German word for there btw. And that ort would actually be der Ort which is where the word dort comes from, so technically, they were right - dort is a combination of that and ort.

@The505Guys Technically they have the same meaning and when you describe where something is, you can use both da and dort. However, when you say something is da it can also mean it has arrived (like a package for example) and when you say something is dort it usually means someplace a bit farer away. So if you would say something is over there, you would say dort. However, dort is more used by older generations and is getting more and more replaced with da. Hope I could help :)

Honestly when I first started this show I didn't like murr thought he was so annoying but when you rewatch he's the funniest one that's making the best jokes. Absolutely love him. Love how much fun he's having in this episode.
