I'm not a photographer but I would call myself a visual artist (painter, graphic designer, tattooer, I'm doing a lot of things) and these tips are actually very helpful for painting portraits as well. (sometimes I have problems with light sources but now I know what looks best and why) thanks very much, it was very informative and I enjoyed learning something new today:)

That's great! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Remember...repetition, experience and practice will always be your best teacher. So my recommendation to retain that information is to go out and practice as quickly as you can and then keep doing it often.

generally as noted by a great Classical photographer Joe Zeltsman, one area where the female can be photographed in a non feminine pose is an elderly person. Also dark clothing can be photographed in the masculine pose on a woman where the body and head is toward the direction of light. JG was just masterfully showing the feminine pose. Females are lucky -- just not a great idea to use a male in a feminine pose.

just happened to bump into some of your videos. Nice to see someone actually presenting info of great value to students. Thought you might have mentioned the 5 facial views because I note you get them right. Lots of Leon Kannemar, Joe Zeltsman, Van Moore, Monte Zucker, David Ziser influence. For some reason the comments were not showing up in my Brave browser but Chrome and Vivaldi worked ok. Sometimes creators of content close comments. Will be checking the other videos and went to your site -- outstanding wedding images.
