He was clearly having some sort of bad record deal with Atlantic records, which lead him nowhere to go and it almost drove him off the Road/track. If you also look up “blood in the snow” as symbolism, it usually symbolises unbalance, conflicting emotions and Internal struggles. Blood is also often put in relation with working hard, as in “blood sweat and tears” which also explains why he says “he was in the zone”, as in working hard on his Music. He also was Living on the Red Roses and Nowadays songs from his first studio mixtape “life of a Dark rose” for a while and is still mostly known for that. “Which is why he sings steady picking flowers of the rose”. I Wish he would make more real songs like this… just amazing!
