I liked how both Shannon and Lil Wayne were able to both clearly state their views with respect. Racism is a touchy subject no matter where you stand. If you talk about it, you risk pushing people away; if you don't, you risk not bringing truth and light into a situation.

As a black man I love hearing this… I have NEVER ever dealt with Racism IN MY LIFE! Some of the closest friends/brothers I have in this life and the next are white… and you couldn’t tell any of us that we aren’t family. I have never been treated differently by any of their family members if anything they have treated me as one of their own. I’ve been privileged enough to go to private schools and colleges and I can tell you my blackness has never precluded me from doing ANYTHING that I put my mind too! Blaming racism is so much easier than blaming yourself for being unable to have a vision and chase it. All love! And I hope all that read this have a blessed day!

+Logical Thinker Lol. No one said shit about him not being Black enough. I simply called him an Uncle Tom. I'm sure that you who knows so much about Black Culture is aware of what that is. As a Black Man, that statement is fucking stupid. Black History Month is highly unappreciated. Hell, Black History in general is unappreciated. The simple fact that schools still Marginalize Cultural history's is asinine. History is History. Black History matters just as much as White History, yet in order to become a legal citizen, people are questioned on White History. I agree with the statement that American history is Black History, but until it's treated as such and has just as much significance as White History, then I'm not interested in Black History Month being taken away. That's bull shit. You talk segregation, since when did Morgan Freeman speak for all Blacks? Why is Morgan Freeman even being brought up? Lil Wayne has said in so many of his songs that he's experienced racism. Like in his songs "Georgia", "Hollywood Divorce" and "Misunderstood".
