I know I had some ranting to do about build mode in this pack and some aspects of the world, but now it's time to jump into the game play and give it a fair shot! Nothing major in the story has happened yet in this part, so you can watch relatively spoiler free! I am definitely willing to give this pack a fair chance, despite my earlier concerns. I'd be totally afraid to eat the fruitcake given by the "stranger" welcome wagon folks. The regular fruitcake has a 50/50 chance of making your sim sick as it is.

The real town is named Roswell (not Rosewell). Perhaps still related though. Especially given the Mesa terrain, very New Mexico/Arizona inspired.

you probably know this now but if you eat the bizarre fruit it posseses you but it fills all your needs and then the possession wears off so its a little clever work around for you solve things without worrying about your sims needs

Honestly the next pack/ expansion should be kind of like a collab with people who are really loyal to playing the sims and it would just be super cool to have a diverse world and diverse content, with new cas and build things that people who PLAY would have the ability to have the creative control of whatever is put in the game and all that. I doubt that's even possible but it would be a really awesome experience to see a different style of builds, sims, outfits, etc.

The fact Strangerville is kind of inspired, if not the same as Strangetown makes me so happy. The Sims 2 was my favorite game and the last Sims I ever played before returning on Sims 4 almost 13 years later. I really missed these kind of wacky stories. Story Mode is always so fun. Now... where is the cow cult? :D
