She was actually mocked in idol competition or America's got talent. They said she couldn't do it, and there was no interest for this music. I figured that out many years later. This song was the first I heard from Lindsey Stirling back when she was on her first album, and I instantly liked it. Listened to all her albums, and even saw her live. You go girl!

she was the first one to make me actually like the violin as a instrument. would i play? nope but that has nothing to do with her or the instrument i just wouldn't enjoy playing any kind of music because it's not my cup of tea. i would rather listen to someone who's already doing well with it. her story itself is amazing, even with the downs she still brought her self back and is better then ever because of it.

My grandma takes me downtown to go get icecream sometimes, and there is a acrobatics group that does shows down near the docks. They always play Lindsey’s music. This one is the first one to play EVERY SINGLE TIME. My grandma and i love it and i wish i could take my parents to see them. I love Lindsey’s music so much! 😁

I think old youtubve videos make people very motivated, i found one old animation on some channe, and i coudn't stop rewatching it beacuse how well it was made, and i wanted to learn to create something too, so i decided to start drawing dragons, and surprisingly in one week i already leanred to draw their heads much better than i ever did in my life

Well they were right to do it, she is insanely talented, but her violin playing does suffer from dancing while playing. And that was why they rejected her. She had to perform live, and if half of the act is subpar because of the other act it ends up looking abit wonky. It sounds amazing in her music videoes since it's playback.

I still remember my stister showing me this video back when it was released because she thought I would like it as I was leanring to play the violin. Lindsey Stirling came a long way since then but her first album will always hold a special place in my heart, those songs and videos are so comforting.

Naw, i'm pretty sure it's higher. I studied dance, and what she does takes a whole lot of rehearsing to be able to do; very few people actually do that. We understand the theory of HOW to do it, but actually performing it that well? Nope. You'll notice that a lot of the videos seem to be taken in one take; if you see her in person, you'll get to see that she really can do all her moves well, live. She's not just a video one trick pony.

This is still my favorite song of hers. So beautiful, so unique, and MAY I REMIND YOU ALL this was pretty much one single shot! No mistakes or the entire thing has to be remade. Few splices..wow.

Not a single shot ... at least two. 1) backboard shadow is shot separately 2) Lindsay dancing with the violin without sound (no sound of feet hitting floor and shadow on backboard does not match the dance, eh? 3) sound is dubbed on. Percussion, at least, is mixed in ... likely all of audio is done in studio. She could have been playing the scales during the dancing and we wouldn't know it. Good video ... but not magic "one take". Likely she spent a couple serious days putting this together. Enjoy it for what it is.

bill65761 No dude, I meant the dancing and the moves was all one take. There is very few splices. I know this wasn't all one shot lol!! I meant that the splices are very far in-between, like 30-45 seconds. Hard to do dancing like that and have it timed perfectly for that long to match what you did in a different take of the same move. ESPECIALLY when you have to change up the dance and then go back to blending them perfectly while still in synch. "No mistakes or the entire thing has to be redone." That's what I meant.

+pixel bros one must synchronize with their shadow,give trust to their shadow,let the shadow trust them,and have a great heart and soul...that is how a graceful dance between one and their shadow then one will achieve an inner peace that only few can have (well actually idk but that's what i think it takes to dance with a shadow oh and also,your award will be an X box 360 achievement that says "shadow dancer" i-i guess... XD )

her violin flawlessly, speaks without words of the up and down of every emotion you could have! The subconscious does what it will without your permission. you will face fear and joy nearly simultaneously without a word or thought. you will fight without fighting, and 10 seconds later you realize you had been in a battle within yourself..
