I really like this song cos honestly this is just a representation of my life at school. I’m gender fluid and I recently came out to my school, and sexuality is very accepted at my school but anything other cis is just “weird”. (I still have to wear skirts too) So when I came out to my class it spread to the school. And from left and right I’m getting homphobic comments “there are only two genders so what the heck are you” “so can I call u a boy?”. But I’m pretty sure some people don’t understand, cos some people don’t even know the difference between gender and sexuality. The worst thing is when a was once cornered after school and I was shoved into the boys bathroom and blocked off the door with their bodies. It shows how society has to tell us how to live, but we rebel against it, doing different things, in which WE want to do.
