So of course he wasn’t and isn’t able to keep his physical vocal chord up 100%. But eminem is not just great because of his voice. I am German and have always liked his music. But since I have improved my English a lot, he is a genius for me. Unbelievable. Of course I don't understand everything, even for native speakers it's probably impossible. Lyrically just not comparable with other rappers. Almost a genre of its own. And I think his new songs are better than those "catchy" songs around 2010. He has these completely insane lyrics again, like at the beginning of his career. One or two bars sometimes have 4 different meanings that can be interpreted. But for non-native speakers all the lines with double or triple bottom are very difficult to understand. As I said, also for most native speakers, which is probably why his success is waning. He is too much of a genius for the mainstream hip-hop audience.
