I saw in some comments that they say "her song is mostly made out of of screams" I just have to say this, the way she "screams" is something called "ağıt" in many Turkish folklore in general, and it's an expression of grief and sadness in a very powerful way. There are many great songs made out of mostly 'ağıt'. So when you listen this song, think that this is her and her people's expression of grief for the people they lost and their homes because of selfishness and fascism of some big states. And her voice and her song is beautiful that's how she won, so suck it.

Надо признать честно. Песня красивая и исполнение великолепное. А то, что спел наш Лазарев звучит как примитивная попса, лишенная всякой оригинальности. Даже само название "You Are The Only One" давно набило оскомину. Так что, это все, что имеем. ))

Тільки зараз почув цей виступ(до того я чув, що Джамала виграла, але не чув пісні) і тепер розумію чому саме вона перемогла. Пісня дуже важка, розповідається про депортацію кримських татар з Криму в Сибір і східну росію за наказом верхівки ссср. Поки чоловіки воювали на фронті, їхній жінок, дітей масово пакували по вагонах і депортували. Люди вмирали від голоду, божеволіли від довгох їзди в вагоні з недостачею місця, жінки стидались справити свою нужду і вмирали... Але депортували не тільки кримських татар, а й багато інших народів. Страшно, не розумію як люди можуть бути настільки жорстокими по відношенню з іншими людьми... Нелюди! Тому й українці і кримські татари воюють з росіяю, бо не хочуть повторити цей страшний досвід.
