Thanks for the case recommendation. I ended up going with the Lian Li O11 XL. I want to work toward full open loop liquid cooling and it will be a great option for that when I am ready, and still great for my closed loop setup now I think.

I'm 60% sure the tanks I've seen have a small switch on one of the pipes that can be turned 90 degrees to the pipe or in line with the pipe to control a valve. in one setting the tank will climb to that ~220psi threshold and then make the loud off-gassing noise. in the other setting the tank slowly releases pressure instead (out of the pipe with this small switch; closing the valve leaves that pressure to build for the 230psi blowoff valve)

So I've been wondering why I've seen several ads for Gamer Storm coolers and a couple preview videos as well as the factory tour of them being made, but have yet to see a full thermal review on it. The old ads I believe have only been for the Captain Pro from a year or so ago and they currently have a the Pro V2 out as well as new versions of the Castle line. They look great but I've only found a few somewhat informative videos on them. Results on the older versions seem to be somewhat conflicting in results. Would love a more comprehensive look at where they fit, in a GN Coolers list.

Hi Steve! I plan on getting a 3080 that has a 3x8 pin config . Thing is I'm using Corsair's individually sleeved cables and I currently have 2 of my single PCI-E cables and plan to use for the 3rd 8pin socket my PCI-E Cable that has the splitter. Since they're individually sleeved, does it matter which of the 2 8-pin plugs I use? Thanks.

It is 350 PSI relief valve and yes it will scare the bejesus out of you when it goes off. I used to fill them at Airgas 25 years ago in my mid 20's.

Wait a minute, how did you get 3DMark to run with Precision X1 open? Time Spy for me always crashes when I have Precision X1 open (at stock, by the way) but runs fine with Precision X1 not running. Man alive Steve, that is the longest video i have ever watched! I did pick up a few tips though. And i am also very glad that i have refrained from spending a sh1t loada money on these last two Gens. I noticed that you made reference to the 1080ti several times. I have a Aorus 1080ti and it remains faithful and powerful to this day,with plenty of OC headroom also. I'm so glad that i haven't impulsively invested in these 2 gens as i feel now like i would have wasted my money when i already have a 'brilliant' generation of card for at least another year. You are very educational, but sometimes speak a bit too fast.. But well done for all the tiring effort you put into bringing this content and knowledge to us all! Based on this, I feel like you guys (or someone needs to do more comparisons of the partner cards to see what is the best value. That Gigabyte baseline is like 10% worse than the EVGA card.
