About Stephen “The Devil” French
Drug dealers beware. The Devil is coming to get you.
Stephen French invented the perfect crime: robbing drug barons of their huge fortunes. In SAS-style swoops, The Devil raided their fortified mansions and tortured them with horrifying violence until they paid up. Through “taxing” the richest and most powerful crime-lords in the UK, he netted over £20 million.
The Devil was no ordinary criminal. He was a world-champion fighter, who studied psychology at university to master mind-control techniques, and he used the teachings of Machiavelli and samurai warriors to outwit his enemies. He also had a complex relationship with Curtis Warren, the wealthiest criminal in British history. The two were childhood pals, then partners and finally bitter enemies.
Stephen is now an author, public speaker and activist.

Apparently Mr. French here was a bit of a bully when he was imprisoned in Albany, he tried to steal the commissary from an Irish man who just entered the prison only to get smashed up by the Irish man who used a tin of peaches to rearrange his face, he stopped his bullying after that life lesson.

after a ten year run addicted to crack, I'm only a week into sobriety, and as I listen to your episodes while I struggle to sleep, I often find myself dreaming that I'm in jail and these stories are being told to me by my cellmate. it's a fuckin trip, sometimes it's nightmarish, sometimes the stories are being told to me by crazy fucks from my own past; on this particular day, I dreamt I was in a posh cell, fully furnished , a total fantasy vision of prison...the funniest part is when these stories are told and the person I see in my dream is a person, a criminal friend, from my own past. It really is a trip. I'm 41 now, goin on 50, a criminal-outlaw since the age of 4 or 5, believe it or not...and although, I've earned a Master's degree, I have talent, skills, here I am at rock bottom..alone, in debt, struggling to figure out how all this gets put back together. Do I have story to tell, would anyone listen...who the fuck knows, who the fuck would care anyway HA! Here's to you Shaun. Thank you for helping me get through the night.

I think personally there needs to be people who really went from nothing to something from doing something they enjoyed apart from being in the streets. In the UK the knife crime scene is at it highest since 2011! Nearly everyday someone is getting stabbed! I think everyone needs to try and spread a message about trying to lower rates? I know it will never stop it will be a never ending argument. But I think people like Shaun and James English who have a very wide audience need to try and get Top Athletes such as AJ, Fury, Darren Till! there’s a lot of People I can name! Our future is not going to be as productive or safe. There is a lot of extremely good young talent everywhere! But they all get dragged into the streets. AJ he’s been brought up around the streets of London. With a incident he went through he was guided through a boxing gym, he kept himself to his self and not getting involved with the streets, later on in life he’s now a world champion! I think people like AJ , Fury, Till would be good people to try and spread the message of putting down a knife as they are very good role models. Meanwhile Darren Gee has a lot of haters and a lot of supporters but nobody can fault him for trying to spread the message of putting down a knife. People like UK Rap Artists need to try and spread a lot of knife crime awareness. It’s getting out of hand. Where I live in a small town up north even kids that are about 12-13 are carrying knifes around! I’m passionate about trying to spread the message of knife crime I just don’t know where to go with it!

*I grew up in Middlesbrough. my family was poor, I mentally escaped my surroundings by reading library books and studying people, comparing them to each other. During my first ten visits to London at age 16 onwards, I was shocked by the quality, intelligence, and wealth of the people seen there. They did not drink Camerons Strongarm, sit in pubs, visit betting shops, or live in South Bank, or Cannon Street Mbro, they certainly did not mix with the Lee Duffys of this world. Smart people, rich people, and wise people. You can follow their example, Do it today. If need be get out of Middlesbrough and move.*

you should have studied your surroundings in my beloved Boro, I'm a born n bred Grovehillian, (from the notorious council estate Grove Hill) and I've lived and worked all over the UK, especially down south, living in London, Kent, Essex etc and hand on heart I wouldn't want to live anywhere else then Middlesbrough, yes it's a poverty stricken decaying industrial town, full of idiots, roid heads, and plastic gangsters who think they are in a mob movie, but it's also home, with the countryside and the seaside basically on our doorstep, be proud of your home, and believe me the grass is never greener, it just a bit different 😉 UTB

Yeah that whistle you heard was probably Andrew. I know some close minded people will label you crazy. But When my Granda died, granny went soon after. She wasn't that old, just died of a broken heart really. Anyway, she came back after she had died. She spoke to her sons wife just as she rose out of bed in the morning. I know of 4-5 similar stories just from my wider family. That sort of thing can happen. Probably your pal allowed one last chance to say don't worry, I love yah.

Just like Shaun, i have read a lot of books, here amongst police & agents books, and being in the game myself, and a former 1% biker, i have witnessed a lot of things, i have absolutely no idea of what really is going on with him and the child case, but over the years, i have begun to see a parten, amongst the toughest guys i know of, and it always happens when they actually starts to slow down, it is hard to explain, so i will tell it as I see it, or what i believe is going on with these high up guys... I literally think that the police is behind it All... They know how are close to you, they know who is weak, they have all the information they need, and what Talks better than Money, especially to a person whom despises you, it's like those bastards are just like ; - We Hate Him So Much - Now He's Gonna Get It - And Get He Will I don't know if this is true, but i've seen it so many times, of course in different ways... - Stay Blessed - - Peace - 🙏❤✌
