If Alonso stays at his present club then hes the kind of guy we want in the future. By staying he is showing great respect to his club. Stevie G is coming guys. Thats why he was so happy and relaxed looking at the weekend.

There may be a twist in this yet. Xabi is my top choice but that's mostly down to nostalgia. I will be ok with whoever Edwards reckons is the best choice as he has very rarely got things badly wrong. Either way our new boss will never walk alone.

Our fanbase is already being toxic towards Xabi and it doesn’t suprised me. Just shows how fans get overhyped about someone and then hates them when they don’t join. Xabi was never coming period. You really think he’s the type of guy to jump ship after just 1 year at a club regardless of who was calling? And why would we ever want a manager who is willing to do that? If anything people’s respect for Xabi and his decision should have grown….. embarrassing how our fanbase got here

I agree. He wasnt going to bail and maybe he honestly feels he isn’t ready for Liverpool. Who knows a few years from now. Would have been nice especially for the familiarity.

As a Scouser living in Brighton and having a few die hard Brighton mate's, they've been telling me João Pedro has played 2 games behind closed doors, 1 playing 60minutes and last game Tuesday playing the whole 90min

more optimization: - runs by the wing-backs ignored too often - overlaps being ignored too often (especially near/inside the box, very strong move) - improve player's defensive awareness when defending attacks on the wing/diagonal balls - 2 players passing the ball to each other 4-5 times in very short distance (what is that?) attacking: - would like to see some macca through balls/lobs to nunez - a few long balls to szobo (long ball not played by a defender) - change kick-off routine

I would still go for the draw between City and Arsenal. we can't be ignorant towards them. it's now 2 seasons in a row that they have been in a title race and a win for them would give them massive confidence in the run in. As long as we take care of business first...then a draw gives us a small advantage with the hope that both teams will a least drop points in one-two more games. I feel the CL draw has helped us as both teams( I know City have the experience) will have two tough games(possibly more if they both get through)

In an ideal world, when we get enough notice of press conference times, we do try to move them mate but sometimes LFC don’t announce them until less than 24 hours before and it’s too short notice

Look the Xabi saga was feeling about the Bellingham one. Relax. We’re still in very good hands behind the scenes. These decisions are not just made by the court of public opinion. We can only wait and see regardless. Just enjoy Klopp right now and focus on that!!

Id be fine with amorin or nagelsmann. If either doesnt work out we can go back in for xabi or ljinders in 1-2 years when they have more experience. Theres a wealth of options and im not worried about it All these guys are around 40 and will be coaching for a long time

Huge weekend for us reds with two televised home games. All eyes will be on us tomorrow when we face Man City up first. Think we can get a result against them, just need to be relentless like we can be. Then on Sunday against Brighton, think this one might be a draw just because it’s after the international break, be great for a win though. YNWA

Interesting vid. I obviously want a draw but I'd prefer a City win to halt Arsensl's momentum & I feel the loss would effect them more & effectively rule them out.

I think we will have everyone fit vs man utd. we can manage without few players against Brighton and Sheffield utd. we need to rotate as much as possible as the europa league will take energy out of us.

We’re out of it if we don’t win. Not bothered ther’d still be 9 games left, if we can’t win all 5 of our home games we aren’t winning those 5 away games. its simply unthinkable for City v Arsenal to kick off and we not be top. No way we recover from that. No way City & Arsenal allow us back in if we drop points here it’s just too damaging a result with 5 or 6 harder matches than Brighton at home still to play.
