Thank you Liz C. I had been independent for decades as you were Republican. Over years, I have voted for outstanding people of different parties. In 2016 I for the first time was so disappointed in both sides primary parties picks that I did not vote and greatly regrated it. I joined the Democratic party after that event to help a s . I COULD. I did not believe THEN that this nation could or would ever select Trump. And by the popular vote he did not win the majority vote. In the past, I have sometimes admired my Republican friends and even helped run campaigns for them finding them to be very principled and in many cases more consistent than many of my Democratic friends. I often chose Republicans for the house but with any senators of any party I go for high standards of principle to get my approval for that office. And as we consider the president and his important role in selecting judges & approving appointments there were for me few Republicans running for that office or winning it that I would approve of for their picks. The current Republican party lacks debate, written policy, has an integrity gap, is cool with lying, and is all in on insider schemes to game rigging throughout the election and governing process throughout all processes leaving no thought to the work which ought to be done well and without drama throughtout the year. Please people of the world dump the dramatist out of the congress and the executive branch. Do it pronto, do it permanently .
