In this video you'll see how I built my own 'LOFT BED' with a cool PC-Setup and Built-in closets and drawers, using only simple tools without having any workshop or previous experience!
I built some other new projects used wasted materials founded frome street for a new foldable loft bed, drawer, TV-Setup and kitchen (Channel Teaser) for saving enviroment and resycling porposes. I built all those projects just usein this matterials and the outcome turned out amazing!

Everything looks great. My only suggestion is that I would have made the area under those steps into drawers, just to maximize the use of the space even more rather than letting them be hollow and empty. Other than that, it came out great and looks like it could have always been part of the space.

All the way through I was thinking just that. Especially keeping the two side spaces accessable for hanging clothes etc. Although the workspace ceiling is unavoidably low I would be continually bumping my head when getting out of the chair....

@neferazure
@neferazure Рік тому
@MaryAnn Kom I'm not referring to the closet. There is some small space under the steps that are not part of the closet because he placed a wall there. This left small rectangular spaces under each of those steps. what I'm saying is, I would have made those small rectangular spaces into storage drawers to further maximize the use of that space.
@NickBFTD
@NickBFTD Рік тому
That seems to be the case in many of these builds, I always wonder that if you are building in a restrictive area why would you leave so much dead space, after all isn't the point to get as much use out of the limited area that you have ?.
@randomness6768
@randomness6768 Рік тому
Excellent job, didn’t realize how spacious the bed area was going to be until the end, you had all kinds of space. The only things I would say that could’ve been helpful is adding LED strip lighting to the closet spaces on either sides and maybe some pull out drawers underneath the steps to alleviate the negative space. Subscribed. 👍

i've built a few loft beds over the years and have never seen so much waste of materials - screws, glue and wood. by reducing only the excessive amount of screws, you could've bought plywood for the stair steps and tabletop. the heat produced by 6 displays, 1 tv and a pc will be fun during summer.

Design a Murphy bed that has a cabinet as the box spring area/bottom area underneath where the mattress would be so that when the bed is put up then you have 2 double doors to look at which open up to an arts n crafts storage space. Then when the Murphy bed is pulled out the cabinet acts as the support frame for the bed. You'll have to buy double attachments to screw inside the cabinet doors so that the doors stay firmly clicked shut until yanked on so you can pull the bed out often. Also if you're worried of the cabinet weighing too much once filled then go to your local tool store and buy a small electric wench that you can open and close the bed with.

My brother built one these lofts for my brother in-law when he was single living in a party room garage. It's a space saver for the bed for shire he had his recliner chair under it with a small refrigerator to keep the beer cold with a couch to watch T.V. hella people used to come there to watch sport's. It was easily put back into a garage after he moved out. It was a very cool set up.

The amount of cross braces under the mattress is impressive. My last built used 1/3rd with a plywood top. Calculated load just below half ton. Not a single creaky noise rigid as concrete. Meanwhile it had 3 full wall support and a pillard in the middle of the front opening. No glue or particle boards though… just 2x4 and half inch plywood.
@j.m.hunter6022
@j.m.hunter6022 Рік тому
And that was stable and load bearing enough? I want to have a loft platform where I can stand and paint with a couple of tall easels and a drawing desk, then a similar workbench underneath?
