The PPK2 is an incredibly useful tool! Some suggestions for the software: 1- The digital channels curves could be color-filled in High state. This would make reading the states a lot easier, especially with several channels shown. Digital channels should be shown even if zoomed out so you can see where state changes, even if not all details can be visualized. Analog display already works the same way. 2- Zooming in and out is a bit clumsy sometimes, especially when using a track pad. A button "zoom to selection" would be great, also maybe "zoom to whole sample". 3- Making a selection by two separate clicks (click + shift-click) instead of dragging would be a nice addition. Maybe also adjusting the range afterwards. 4- The option to increase the sample memory is kind of hidden in the expert menu. Perhaps a small hint in the "estimated RAM required" section would be helpful. 5- At least in "Source meter" mode when voltage is known, in addition to charge (Coulombs) the energy (Watt-seconds) could be calculated and displayed.

Can the Power Profiler be used to monitor power consumption in custom boards from different manufacturers such as TI?

I am missing simple functionality: once I select the window, one button: "fit to the screen" would save my life. Or maybe it is there but I cannot find it? On macbook pro without the mouse it is so difficult to zoom selected window to the whole screen

I use it on my microsoft surface tablet. If I do not have the tablet on the charger, then with a source meeting that I do, I consume less than when I have the tablet on the charger. Without the tablet on the charger: 325 micro amps. With the tablet on the charger: 400 micro amps. I already tried to put the ppk2 on the extra power supply but that makes no difference in the readings. Edit: Also tested on my laptop. there I also see a different measurement than on the tablet. Then tested the tablet again and now it's the other way around from what I said before. Unless mine is broken, the ppk2 is unreliable for me. depending on which device I connect to, the difference is over 75 micro amps.
