Loki is literally the only Marvel project I've been genuinely excited about since Endgame. I hope they do this well. Loki is such a fun, unique character that can always surprise you with something you'd never expect.

Cool note about the band Space. Their most popular hit song was called "The Female of the Species" and it contains lines such as "The female of the species is more deadlier than the male" and "She wants to conquer the world completely - but first she'll conquer me discreetly" and "How can heaven hold a place for me, when a girl like you has cast her spell on me?", which to me can kind of sum up the relationship between Sylvie and Loki as well as her motivations

One detail that you didn't mention: on the shot of Loki, OB, Mobius and B15, Mobius is holding a device that appears to be the device from Victor Timely's presentation. The version at the expo is presented as if it's several separate devices which work in succession but in the scene with the four of them it's put together. HeWhoRemains might not have used such a device to wrangle the timeline together, per se, but clearly this Kang who is destined to be The Last Remaining Kang is attempting to use this device to do something similar.

The poster for Space is not the Liverpool outfit from the mid 90s onwards, but instead the French synth based Disco act from the late 70s onwards. Which places the record store around the early 80s with the Camouflage poster present.

The TVA eliminated all free will in the MCU tho? Like, since watching Loki, I can’t go back and watch a single MCU movie because I now know that those movies had no other option than to end the way that they did, because if they ended a different way then the TVA would’ve stopped them. It invalidates things like Tony’s sacrifice, Cap’s choice to stay in the past, etc etc

@@littleoldmanboy Cap's choice to stay in the past is something he negotiate with TVA Im sure of it. In the first season we can see Steve Rogers's photo in Caesy's drawer. Just like Loki, he got court. But, Cap find a way to make the judge (Ravonna) to still doing what he gonna doing while keep promise to not interupt tva forced fate.

19:29, just to give you some further information, the 'arc' setting is at Chatham Maritime Dockyard in Kent, England. The area has been used for many many different TV shows/movies such as RDJ's Sherlock Holmes, Enola Homes 2, The Crown and even Secret Invasion the Dockyard was used. It's also used as a tourist attraction

So I think that the reason that nobody knew Loki when he came back from the time citadel was because when he went back he glitched back in time to when Kang ruled. Makes sense since he’s glitching through time.

The device behind Timely looks very similar to the time-sausage maker. Makes me wonder if the device being repaired by Mobius was what Timely used the first time to create the sacred timeline-it was the ultimate weapon He Who Remains used after he won to ensure no other branch timelines existed.

Also, glad to see Jonathan Majors is still appearing in the series. I was a bit worried they would make a mess out of it due to his allegations by removing him from the series. And though that would be the most local option, it wouldn't make sense and be confusing storywise. So I'm glad that, in this occassion, they seemed to be focussed on the story in the first place.

The "row boats" are life boats ported in from either Titanic (catastrophic localized event safe for Sylvie hanging out for a few days, knowing full well who will die and who will survive) or the Lusitania that precipitated US involvement in WWI (another ship event knowing who was onboard to die and survive); both events took place after the Chicago Worlds Fair where Nikola Tesla showed off his broadcast power concept and remote controlled submarine.

If you look behind Victor during his presentation, you can see a machine that looks like chaotic energy on the left side and a tip on the right side that is not lit up. It looks like his time filter system that you see on a larger scale with Mobius in the “time” suit.

The patch machine kinda resembles the device used in the old way of making large ropes where smaller strands go through the device where it neatly joins them all together to make one large rope, probably Kang's insurance device to undo any damages done to his perfect timeline system

Thank you for accurately describing the time stream in the ‘hourglass’ (as I’m calling it) other reviewers are saying it’s “unraveling” the sacred timeline into the multiverse, yet for that to happen the image would need to be reversed, time is flowing from the multiple timelines > (left to right) INTO one ‘compressed timeline’

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the device timely has looks the the Time Unifier thing on the timeline. His machine has multiple in-ports. and you can see in the clip of the machine active, you can see multiple lines of lightning going into the one beam at the other end. Just spitballing lol

I don't think its a patch. I think its the beginning. How did Kang form the sacred time line? I think he built this machine "previewed at the Chicago world's fair" to be time loom. This is what takes the natural forming time lines and weaves them into the sacred time line. Now that He who remains is gone, the loom is breaking.

The device that Victor Timely is presenting looks a lot like the device being used to "patch" all the timelines together essentially shaping time. Victor also says "Time is everything. It shapes our lives. But perhaps, we can shape it." Maybe it's a early prototype of the time patch and it'll be a macguffin for this season.

if it followed comics it would introduce FF without any reason and ruin Tony Stark again, every good Skrull would turn bad and lastly Norman Osborn ending it by killing the queen , who has powers of Jessica Drew Spiderwoman with a gun so I still found the series better than this "another time Avengers saved by Plot Armor"

The glitching time doors may have been a portal from that device earlier that had 3 pads attached to it. Maybe that is how that door appears because it comes from a combo of 3 pads.

6:07 that reminds me of the battle of 300. A bottleneck. A last ditch effort of control. That is also from the comics. King prime plants things in each timeline putting him in control of a major aspect of the world. Like mr griffin and quang industries. He then uses all the wealth and power he has accumulated over his many lives to become the ultimate ruler of earth/the universe. So that point is battle world and cronopolis.

one thing i haven’t seen anyone mention yet: in the scene that we originally saw in the quantumania post credits, where mobius is obviously seeing kang for the first time as victor timely, doesn’t that kind of tell us that loki finds his way back to HIS mobius? because the mobius we see in the season 1 finale is obviously familiar with what kang looks like because their tva is outwardly run by him, so why would he say “that’s him?”.

@@ryanpratama8061no, if i got it right, Loki’s Mobius didn’t know how Kang looks like, didn’t even know about his existence while season 1 finale Mobius did know who Kang was, his TVA had a big statue of him…so what the comment above says makes a lot of since.

We as humans are so quick to judge. It's supposed to be 'innocent until proven guilty', but it just doesn't happen like that in the court of public opinion. It's honestly kind of refreshing to see a company (even if that company is Disney) awaiting due process.
