I wouldn't say he was one of the best ones tonight, but I certainly don't understand all the hate he gets. Other countries this year also have generic sounding songs and I haven't seen anyone hating on them, and certainly not to the degree people hate on Isaak.

Isaak was never the problem. The song doesn't stand out and the Performance is lacking. That's why there is a high chance he will end up last in the final.

But this is a pre-party where there is nothing to win or loose, so why would any of them put tons of effort into an amazing performance? Expecially when half of the time their performances are made worse by bad mixing.

I was there in the crowd and the sound was amazing. It’s a gig event and it’s not really professionally filmed like something would if it was on TV. You really can’t capture the energy watching from home. It was a brilliant night.

Don't be harsh to the singers during the pre-parties because the production quality of these event is quite low and even skilled performers do not sound good here which means that sound engineering was bad, not the singers.

He was performing at 1am to an emptying venue after a day of press and being hounded by pro Palestinian protestors, he was probably exhausted which is why he wasn’t at his best - he’s gonna be brilliant in Malmo and won’t be last

you gotta remember that was a low-quality phone recording, dont be so pessimistic. also, if you wanna look at an actual high quality performance, just watch the one he did on saturday night takeaway. even with all the chaos around him, he kept his cool. the guy can sing, you just need to look at a performance that wasnt recorded on a potato.
