Man I met Lord Finesse at the 2019 DMC US Finals (DJ Battle) since he was the MC of the event ! Such a nice guy, I tried not be be too starstruck but really I got to chat with him for a few minutes and he SO humble despite still being an absolute monster on the mic. The best part of the night was when a showcasing DJ started playing his instrumentals and he started rapping them !! Didn't even skip a beat and absolutely killed an acapella verse (he sounds EXACTLY the way he does in his albums). It's crazy how slept-on he is in the current hip-hop climate, he's up there with the East Coast have hitters like Big L/Biggie/Nas/etc.
