My mother was fighting with Cancer. Most of the times she was in the hospital. This song used to be my comfort through those days. Recently my mom passed away. When I listen to this it reminds me of her. I know she is looking at us. Love you mom.

On September 24 2022, I was 21 when I met her. She was 20. I didn’t know her well but something about her stood out. Funny thing is, I found out we both went to the same high school together though we didn’t know each each other in that time yet. My best friend helped introduce me to her and It was a great night for the both of us. We talked for the first time and bonded over school. By the end of the night, I asked for her number and she asked me for mine. For once, I felt connected and so did she. I turned 22, she then turned. 21. We still remained friends despite my ever growing crush on her. But we still stayed together as friends. Nothing could ever break our bond between us. Still, we talked and talked and kept in touch. We saw each other again for the first time since the fall on December 30, 2022. We were both happy to see each other again. Our first face time call was on June 16, 2023. Just seeing each other’s faces again even though we were far apart still brought us joy. Another memory I won’t forget. When you see someone you haven’t seen for so long and it just makes you feel a certain way; that’s how I felt with her We ended seemingly seeing each other again at a diner for possibly the last time in person - on July 22, 2023. Through it all, we shared stories and memories that’ll live on. It was nice to know that we both had an unbreakable friendship I turned 23. She was still 21. We both don’t stay connected anymore and we no longer speak for reasons that couldn’t be explained That moment, on October 24 2023 broke me. Somewhere in the world, I hope she’s doing fine. Where ever she is. But that’s the crazy thing about connections and relationships; Connecting isn’t always about emotion, it’s usually just enjoying someone’s company. Though every connection you make will automatically have some emotion attached to it I still think of her now and then…. and how she’s doing. This song truly reminds me of that one fateful night where I thought I met my soulmate. Where everything seemed to be alright. If I could go back and meet her again for the first time, I would. It’s the moment that’ll stay with me. One day, we will meet again. Somehow, someway. Maybe not now but in our adult lives, maybe. my cat died like a few days ago and when I am listening to this song, all thoughts come back, i grew up with her, she was 15 years old and now i hate myself because in last time i had not enough time to say good bye.

I met her when I was at my lowest point in life, both mentally and financially. She made it clear she was with me for love and not money, she wanted moral and emotional support. We moved in shortly together and lived our happiest moments creating new memories. One day I had to return home for a family emergency that was supposed to be a short trip, but took longer than expected. We stayed in touch nearly every day, my light in this darkness. Then one day it all stopped, she just disappeared. Doesn't answer my calls and only reads my texts. At first I thought it was because of her family situation, she had a lot on her shoulders. I wasn't there to provide her that support...she still sees my posts and reads my messages. But keeps to herself. It hurts because I am in limbo, trying to fight on my own the dark battles, I am not going to give up. Deep down I know she still cares, she still loves me... but I am not there. My time is coming...I can feel it
