This is a really clever song. It's kind of about how fairly well-off people (including herself) like to pretend their lives are hard and challenging when they have it pretty easy. Lorde said in her email that she wrote it kind of quickly for a laugh, which I can see - it's basically light-hearted satire. One of my favorites from the album honestly.

Lorde dropping extra songs like this give me the vibes of Pure Heroin’s extended songs when she dropped those.
