When i was 13 i started to hear by myself to linkin park, it was like remembering my "old times" and after 3 years i had started to traduce the songs to spanish, and there was like "wow, is like my whole terrifying experience at school". Nowadays i'm Lost (again), studying with ADHD is not easy, and my parents don't understand so good what ADHD is. Chester, i promise you, i will not stop. You are a very big part on my life

Damn, this song has been out for a year and I only just heard it for the 1st time today when it got played randomly by UKposts Music and I have been listening to it for the past 5+ hours as well as watching reaction videos to this. Like so many others in the comment section, Linkin Park was a huge part of my formative teenage years. Initially I loved their somewhat angry hard/alt rock sound but over the years came to really appreciate the deep and meaningful lyrics just as much as their sound if not moreso. After five and a half years of, basically, no new Linkin Park songs… this is so bittersweet. When I discovered LPs music, it was by hearing Numb and seeing the thousands of people who had commented on that video, it made me realise I wasn’t alone in how I was feeling. The song literally saved my life. I listened to Faint then From the Inside, In The End, One Step Closer… I kept listening through to the current album (at the time it was Minutes To Midnight). I connected to each song, sometimes a lot, sometimes only a little but their music spoke to me. Brought me out of the dark pit I was in, just long enough to get help. This song speaks to the 13 year me back in 2007 and the 29 year old me now. I’m so glad I found Linkin Park and the community of fans. I’m got to meet my best friend because of it. I got to meet LP. I got to see them perform live with my best friend. Thank You Linkin Park for all those things. Thank You Chester Bennington for helping create and sing songs that spoke to millions of people all over the world. When i first heard this song, which was last year, i had that feeling when you think you heard something from somewhere but don't know where, a voice that resonates in the depth of your mind but can't really figure it out. I was not paying too much attention to the song and suddenly i'm like wait... isn't that chester's voice and when i payed attention to it, i realised it indeed was. I looked it up on youtube and was hooked immediately. I also thought that ai was used to replicate chesters's voice but i was really glad it wasn't the case.
