For the pizza one, when he drops the pizza he doesn’t want to burn his foot so he pulls it out of the way and slips back towards the hot oven door. He doesn’t want to get burned so he arches his back but in doing so he loses balance and falls. He still needs to avoid the oven door so once he hits it he moved out of the way as to not get burned and crushed. Kinda makes sense to me
