Wow!!! Michalina your playing has always been phenomenal but the progress in your vocals here is what really caught my attention. This is probably the first time I'd say your vocals overshadowed your instrumental. And the instrumental was fantastic, the vocals were just even better.👍

Oooooh this is goooood. I love the lamenting, regretful sound. I love the main riff, and the way the higher part of the instrumentation compliments it. And of course, your singing is awesome. Just great all around, I really feel like I'm in the story.

Norwegian owner and player of the Aplo here! For something that seemingly came out of the blue, the pronounciation is pretty impressive! A lot of people struggle with the Ø and Å sounds in particular, and I didn't notice you stumbling on them once! This is definitely something I'm planning on doing myself :)

Thank you so much, your comments means a lot! 🤗 I was listening very carefully to the original and tried to imitate the sounds. I also learned German for a long time, I think it helped. :) Are you planning to play some Lumsk on your Aplo? 😊

@@michalina_malisz Definitely something similar to this video, and Lumsk is not out of the question! I used it for a performance of the Norwegian folk song "Velkomne med æra" last year, and I sometimes bring it to jazz jams for fun (I believe I posted a clip to HG Community last August). I was also briefly in a black metal band where I used it and my primary instrument (bass trombone) before I moved to a new city. Most people in Norway have never seen this instrument before, so I love taking it to new places, even if it means I have to be a living wikipedia page :)

It's about a group of trolls on their way to a troll wedding, but then they get drunk and take too long to get there, so the sun comes up and they turn into stone. :)

Thank you so much! I remember this, I really didn't sing well at that time! 😂 A lot has changed since then, what prompted me to start practicing singing was LYRRE. Initially we wanted a male voice for our band but after some "auditions" and Piotr's suggestions for me to start singing, I gave it a try. I'm glad and did and that you like the effects! 🤗
