Chris’ voice was so haunting. It really made you sit and reflect on things. Her voice is the rightful feminine version of this song. As someone who was around when this song came out, she invokes the same loneliness and longing of Chris’. Beautiful and haunting. I’ve listened to this 100 times over the past few months.

I highly doubt it, video is filled with auto tune and effects. It doesn’t even sound remotely natural. It’s literally over edited, even i could make my voice sound good this way

The guitarist/steel guitarist put so much emotion in their playing, it was beautiful and haunting. The drum beat reminded me of Phil Collins which is a huge compliment in my opinion. Great band. The singer did brilliantly. Superb. I loved it.

There's nothing more frightening than meeting a person in a literal dream, speaking to them, waking up, taking a deep breath and knowing you have NEVER seen them before-ever. When it happens once, then you actually meet that person it's frightening to the core. When it happens a second time, it's paralyzing. When it happens a third time, it's kind of like a, "holy shit while your hands shake uncontrollably now what?!" moment. Haunting sound. Great song

After listening to about 300 people sing this song on UKposts and social media, in my own opinion this has to be the best cover. She can hit the notes that are required for this song but yet she has just the right raspiness to her voice to keep you pulled into the song. Very beautifully performed.
