Thank you for proudly hiring someone to build your van! I feel like in the community there’s still a bit of a stigma around not being self built but as an autistic person I didn’t have the skills or the mental ability (or the loving father with power tools lol) to tackle building my own home. So sweet! Maybe start small with a smaller van and just do camping trips closer to home with a significant other or friend? That way you can build up that confidence. I hope you make your dream come true!!

Five years ago, when I was a 61 woman, I bought a used pleasure way camper van. It saved my mental health through Covid. I am lucky that I live near National Mountain parks in Alberta so I only need to drive an hour or two to be out in the mountains. unless I’m with other people I always camp in provincial or national park campgrounds, you are more capable than you think @johnnabole6203!

That is such a clean minimalist build, no wasted space and very light and cheerful. I love the thought put into the spaces for the dogs. Ellie and Pearl are so sweet. Your van is great.

You’re one of my favorite van lifers. Your videos come across so down to earth and your build is so pet centered. Im playing with a layout for a build with my Shepherd and ferrets and definitely love your bowl storage and Pearls place/Ellas bed set up

⁠⁠@@chucky6367 Nope, not if she takes care of them, the way a furbaby parent should take care of them. It’s kind of similar to someone thinking having cats, and their litter boxes, etc.., while living in a van, would stink it up. It shouldn’t, as long as their potty, they themselves and all messes are properly scooped, cleaned and taken care of daily☺️🚐🐾👌🏼

It’s pretty obvious that this build was informed by your experience with your previous vans, what worked and what didn’t. Also, it’s really really beautiful. Well done. I love your videos. I don’t know why UKposts kept showing me your shorts, but I’m glad they did. I subscribed as soon as you did your first long form video. BTW, I loved that you shared your engagement video. Your advice to just go and do it inspired me to build a removable RV set up into our Tesla model Y, and we use it for travel on the road a lot. I’m always dreaming about how we can keep modifications and upgrades going. Your van gives huge inspiration!

Beautiful! You should definitely get a few security cameras, like the Ring cameras that alerts your phone when it senses any type of motion! Be safe out there!

love ur van!! love Pearls place ❤ ur right, dogs like to den, and little dogs need a private space to feel safe, get away from the bigger dogs, but even if she were the only dog they like having a secure private space 😊❤ she’s adorable btw!! i love all animals, especially dogs, the toy dogs just grab my heart 😂❤❤ so happy for you!!
