Yes. It does my head in that so many songs are in English now. The fact that 4 of the 5 top songs were not in English says a lot. All of those top 5 were really well done songs, and the Swiss guy is a really good singer. well, as someone over 40, Maneskin really brings back the memory of great rock music in the 80s and 90s. This is my first time enjoying new rock band again. The music world is so full of pop, boyband and rap which I don't enjoy at all. Not that they are bad, but those type of music is just not my type. I have been listening only to bands from the 70s till early 2000...till I heard Maneskin. Can't stop listening to them now.

You never listened to rock music ? I guess that is because there is so much rubbish on main stream radio . You dont need to learn Italian to listen to good music either there is a whole world of real music out there and practically all of it is not in Italian :-) . Good to see a real band win this garbage competition though even though the song is a bit tame and terribly generic for rock music . But hey small steps to get the ignorance of what real music is about out there to the minority of pop music listeners . Turn off the radio and get into real music you will expand your mind and your soul.
