I am glad Poppy's back to doing videos like these. I find them intensely calming. There's something there that's creepy, but there's nothing to be scared of.

The emotions she's able to capture with this are really- I guess cool would be the best word. Especially at the end. It felt like everything was frozen and I don't really know how to describe this, but it felt like hoding your breath. And then she looked at the camera and every emotion spiked and it was just fricken awesome lol.

I got the chills at the end, like I really felt looked at in this weird 4th wall breaking way. It's so interessting seeing a more symplistic style of video again, but these are different by the feel and I'm excited to see more.

wow i feel like we’ve barely ever heard poppy use orchestral instruments! i love this soooo much, her creativity and willingness to branch out into new things is showing edit: of COURSE it is a synth and not real orchestral instruments but you guys are being deliberately obtuse if you don’t think those synths are supposed to be similar to orchestral instruments (flute and clarinet specifically). i guarantee you some of your favorite orchestral video game soundtracks are made 100% with vsts but you’re not sitting there going “it’s a synth”. shhhhhh

my interpretation: when shes deciding between the chairs, she knows that she probably should sit in the right chair, because its "right", but she doesnt because she feels more drawn to the left one. she finally says fuck it and sits where she wants. when she goes to pick up the first macaron, its a surprise which she picks. most people would pick the middle for balance, and it would make sense for her to pick the pink one because it matches her outfit, but she picks the one that doesnt belong. she takes her time deciding between the macarons, but at the end chooses pink as her favourite as a nod to past poppy. the poppy era began as pastel pink, and thats a nod to who she was then. the white background is the most recogniseable poppy, and so it holds most of the video. the black background is something i see as extremely quintessentially just HER, no titanic- so when it switches to black, i feel that her real self is accepting her past self and taking that period of her life back from titanic
