Some more facts. Kathrine served time in the same prison as her mother Ora. They were released and Kathrine changed her name for the second time in her life. George made threats towards the prosecution team. But once in Alcatraz fellow inmates labeled him as Pop Gun Kelly and said that he was harmless. When George died in Leavenworth no family would Claim his body. Robert "Boss" Shannon, who was his father in law did claim his body and that is why he is buried in Texas. Shannon had gotten clemency for his sentence. If he had not then George would have been buried in Leavenworth. Mr. Urschel paid for Kathrine's daughter to go to college. Pretty remarkable thing to do since her mother kidnapped him. It was all done anonymously but discovered after his death that he had in fact done that.
