One of my all-time favorite Madonna interviews. She comes off as incredibly genuine here. You can tell she respects Larry, and he's very no-nonsense and direct with her, while still being charming in his own way. I think he reminds her of her dad. And they end up having a mutual respect for one another. For all of Madonna's flaws, when someone brings out the best of her, it really is a wonderful experience as she's often quite guarded. Not only publicly, but emotionally as well. She can come off as quite vapid and superficial. But we all know she has a heart and is quite intelligent underneath the tough exterior. It's nice when she shows it.

I get emotional every time i listen to her. So much carisma and strength in her

I love that she says 'never get involved with someone who's involved with someone else'. Believe me, I've been propositioned many times over the years by 'the unfaithful's', but I always remember this interview 😇

You can tell she is a researched and highly intelligent human simply by the fact she knows histories of obscure people, like Lola Montez.

2023.. had forgotten how down to earth , smart, and humble she was and still is. So glad it popped up on my UKposts feed bc love Larry Kings interviews. Always the best! Madonna concert 🎶 this year, Austin Tx. Can’t wait! Legend. 🤩

The smartest women in the business. Projected a bad girl image and in reality had/has her head screwed on the right way. Never done drugs, drink etc....a super health conscious person with a healthy mind and a positive attitude. Madonna is a superstar in a class of her own. I love her for this. A complete performer and a wholesome beautiful person. She is the best role model for her daughter. 💓

Madonna s still 'The legend' and 'honest' I really like her looks and her ability to talk, she s also a great speaker

Never paid much attention Madonna because I didn't care for her music and her slutty image. And when I saw the Letterman interview in the '80's, she really put me off. But geez, I just watched this and a 2017 interview and I'm so impressed. No airs, no bullshit. Just an incredibly talented, intelligent and successful artist being sincere and real.
@lukapieri67776 років тому
It's a shame so many people got distracted by her provocations. She had always been very eloquent and intelligent in interviews (especially bigger magazines like The Face and Details). Try this one, for instance, to see how ahead of her time she really was: ukposts.info/have/v-deo/nKWro6dvf4Z01Ks.html
