Stellan Skarsgaard is just one of the funniest man ever. He's taking the piss and thoroughly enjoying it but there is enormous love between he and Mads Mikkelsen. I love Danish films and their actors. They are a fine bunch and as a nation, I think Denmark punches way above its weight.

This is the best "fun colleague intro" awards speech ever... it is hilarious and seems so spontaneous and heartfelt! There is genuine adoration and affection between them... Mads had to run back for another kiss and Stellan's face just glowed with happiness after that haha

I would just like to say that I'd never even heard of Mads until one day I was bored with all the "recommended" movies on a streaming company. So I decided I'd just watch the first flick that popped up: it was "Polar". Absolutely Awesome! Now, I have a large collection of Mads movies, searching for more and wonder if I'm too old to learn Danish! Thank you for being such an outstanding actor Mads!!!

Most accurate description, he summed it up nicely. He's got a really really really really interesting face. It's not amazing & dashing like Tom Cruise but rather interesting, so interesting that you can't look away. When the camera's on him, the camera's confused and excited about what it's gonna record.

Stellan managed to tell Mads that he admired the mastery of his craft as an actor in such a genuine and heartwarming way. All the titles and awards are great but hearing that from a fellow actor must make him feel even more special. Plus Stellan would make a perfect dinner party guest and he’s dressed like one too
