You can almost feel the energy in that room. Like two apex predators sharing a shade tree and a breeze before going back to their own lives and families. The stories these two men can tell.

what a fascinating and interesting conversation. so unreal to be able to watch these two men speak about their experiences, and the level of respect they have for each other is admirable.

Well, everybody that turned it off because of Bobby's "mmm" habit seriously missed out on a fantastic talk. I could listen to these gentlemen converse for hours!

I grew up having a family of British folks living with me. They lived with us for 12 years so I've known them my whole life, and unknowingly I picked up the gent's habit of "silently affirmation" as a listener to the speaker, the small mmhmms, and hmms. Bobby doing that in the video brought back so much nostalgia.

The mad respect between these two is amazing.

When Michael talked about his friend having an affair with his sister: "you don't survive that", that's the first time he ever have details about himself being involved in a killing. This was a fantastic video all in all, so my thanks to whomever it was that thought to put these two in a room together.

The utter respect for one another really makes this video.

For anybody interested as to why Bobby ‘mm’s a lot, it is often done by older British gentlemen as a sign of focus and attention to what the other is saying. My grandpa used to do the exact same thing when talking about a serious matter. It shows Bobby is completely engaged with Michael and his story.

I respect these two. They lived a life of crime, but they made it out. This is fantastic.

I could sit around old guys who've lived, really lived, and just listen to them tell stories all day and night.

I want to be like those men, not their life but the attitude. Man, I’m always amazed by that kind of attitude.

Bobby was awarded an OBE from the Queen for his charity "Unlock" where he helped turn some of the the worst of the worst in UK crime back to being straight members of society. Yeah he had a wild past, but the man's a walking saint in my eyes.

Honestly, love the quote "Prison is the university of crim," because it is absolutely right, with the way many prison treat prisoners (even ones with realise dates), you really wonder how people can say prison teaches people a lesson and puts them on the right path as it really doesn't. It makes their life health inside prison and out, many go right back into illegal activities even scaling up compared to what they previously did. Being in prison does not help people and never will be when society has been and as it is right now (if it doesn't change) it will continue to be the main problem. People's families, their local environment, their educational environment, it's what shapes people into who they become and who they associate it with. So, if you've never been to prison, never came close or never thought about it, really thank the people and environment you grey up around and in, as they helped shape you onto a good path from the beginning as at the end of the day people make choices themselves, but you can't always blame people for making bad choices if you never consider how they felt and what choices they felt they had.

Bobby was such a successful crime lord because of his ABSOLUTE MASTERY of active listening.
