Magneto speaking in German was superb writing, he went back to the concentration camps seconds before his demise.

I never thought this show wouldn't hesitate to kill off main characters.

I can't believe they actually did the Genosha massacre with The Wild Sentinels. This is loosely based off the comic E for Extinction, in which a mutant by the name of Cassandra Nova hijacked and used one of the deadliest types of Sentinels known as Wild Sentinels, and sent them onto Genosha which resulted in them destroying the entire island and wiping out over 16 million people. Also fun fact: The voice for Cable is the OG voice for Gambit from back in the day.

Honestly as a long time fan of Gambit, this episode honors his character like Fox live action never did. No one will ever forget Gambit again! RIP

This episode had me feeling so many emotions. When I saw the promotions, I thought it was going to be a happy-fun side adventure episode. I wasn't expecting my emotions to be put through a spincycle.

This episode was dark yet epic! Magneto, Rouge, and Gambit really popped off in this episode.

I’m glad they waited until I was an adult. If I saw this as a kid, I would’ve been scarred. Shit I watched days of future past as a teen and that shit was brutal.

I have to say the entire Genosha attack was well done tension and action the suspenseful build up to Rogue falling in and out of consciousness as the chaos unfolds then all of the X-Men get into action trying to stop the sentinels and save people ending with Magneto and Gambit’s sacrifices. Many shows and movies attempt to portray crisis situations but often miss the chaos and confusion that comes with them this whole sequence captures that very well.

Geez. Imagine what Spiderman 97 would be like if that ever becomes a thing.

How many times did you cried in this episode? Me: Yes.

This was hands downs the best episode I have seen from XMen animated series including the OG. If they could just translate this to live action, they would simply not lose.

All the stories up until now are dealing with great loss. Storm and her powers, Cyclops and his child, Rogue and Gambit. It feels like it’s all gonna come together in some way towards the end.

Anyone else notice the watcher cameo appearance in the sky before the party. Love the small detail reminding us that this show is also part of the larger MCU as a whole.

Terrifying episode. Gave me chills and at the end I was in tears. Magneto telling Leech to not be afraid, but in german. Gambit being the hero to save Genosha and "REMEMBER IT" And Magneto's outstanding quote: "We shall not live our days wondering if we could've saved more."

I knew they were going to have to kill off some characters eventually, But A Reformed Magneto and poor Gambit?? they really had the guts to kill fan favorites.

Gambit became my favorite X-men after this episode

Gambit will come back to life. In the city, there is a mutual who can bring back the dead or near dead. Since every type of mutual live in the city and is going to be the lands of where all mutual can stay without human issue.

Gambit, Nightcrawler, Magneto, and Madeline all dead... excuse me while I cry my eyes out.
