Important to point out that it doesn’t actually make the device MagSafe compatible, it just aligns the MagSafe puck, you only get basic QI wireless charging not 15w MagSafe.

I have one of these for my 11 pro max. I got a MagSafe car mount too, it’s much nicer than the other methods of magnet or clamp style car mounts. Those clamps mounts are ugly, and those other magnet ones will block your wireless charging. MagSafe is becoming so popular now, so I get to have a nice car mount and have wireless charging, and it works with the MagSafe puck too

@Phone Repair Guru if you didn't knew, the gravity sensor and compass in the new iphones are compatible with magsafe and are usually tuned from being destroyed or magnetized from the magnets or tuned to give right readings.But normal iphones are not compatible with magnets which can magnetize thier sensor if we keep for too long ang give incorrect readings.The speakers in all phones are probably magnets but they are kept on the right spots or are tuned for them

Magsafe is a fast charing magnetic charger made by apple to fast charge with wireless charging, MagSafe uses magnets to also stay on a phone, so that is MagSafe.

No, the coil of the watch charger is way too _smol_ for it to work. The iPhone uses the QI wireless charging standard with a coil much larger in diameter.

Yeah, a Qi receiver with a lightning port on the end will work tucked into the back of a case. Not the iPhone itself though, the metal back would interfere with the charging, so you'd have to cut a hole into the metal body to fit the coils. Idk how structurally sound it would be. Anything 8+ has a metal chassis below the back glass with a hole designed in that the coils fit into.
