Eraser for reverse is smart, I like it. Idea: each gear gets a larger size (0.5mm for first, 0.7mm for second, 1mm for 3rd) to represent denser burnout tracks with more ink.

The multi-ink pens we had back in the day were no where close as nice as this. Good job.

Let’s give some props to the video production here. It was as good as the machine work! If I had one of these back in Jr. H.S., when multicolour pens were the rage, my simulated V8 noises would have drowned out the clicking of the shift mechanism followed by me being kicked out of class.

Ugh, you use an automatic pen?

I was expecting a single color pen with a clever gear-shift like mechanism, and I got a 6 "color" full on gear box pen ! The machining is incredible, I would be stressing out having to manually machine brass that thin.

Couple years ago someone asked me to make 0.5 thread on m5 bolt and i was like nope ,there is no way for me to make it,i cant even see it let alone sharpen a knife for it on a bench grinder.Your work is amazing you do precise things on a small lathe -i guess size sometimes really matters and bigger isn't always the best !

What an imaginations to think of such a thing, and being able to design it and have it work is impressive as hell.

I had to watch the whole video to figure out how would the gear shifting make sense.. my dumb mind for the large majority of the video pictured it as something similar to a tatoo ink needle, but switching gears to change the color of the ink is such a cool concept my inner 8 to 12 years old would have gone ballistic on my mom wanting to get one like that! Don't get me wrong, I think it's super cool and I would LOVE to have one like that! I just won't go ballistic on my mom in order to get it, I will just try to find someone who works metal or find something similar online myself! Really cool idea, reminds me of those pens they use to sell at school fairs. A cool addition would be to have different tips, like a chiseled marker, brush tip, ball point, etc., then you could write hundreds of fonts from one pen!
