Making a cool hexagon octagon hammer handle for a vintage Cheney Ripper

My dad made a really cool hammer handle from Burma blackwood wood. He designed the handle to be hexagonal and octagonal in the same shape, as a vintage Cheney rip hammer head . It is one of the most unconventional hammer handles that we have made. However, we intend to do this for collection and display as a work of art. We work with a tool that we have and make it in a simple way. We would like to be an inspiration to you. Hope you enjoy our video and hope to get some ideas or inspiration. I like how you've tapered the handle outwards near the middle, should the wielder want a half-handed grip further up the handle. I wonder how you'd do two of those so that theres two natural gripping points, one in the middle and the other at the end? Also, Japanese handsaws are so satisfying 🤌🏻

wow Poom great job man, what wood did you use? also how long did that take to make? and where did you get the hammer head from?

Thank you very much. We use Bruma blackwood for this handle. We do it slowly and comfortably. Most often it takes about 3-5 days, doing 5-7 hours per day. Most of the ax heads and hammers we got from Facebook groups, which merchants probably bought from other websites.🙏🙏🥰🥰👍👍😁😁

Are you from thailand? If yes, where you get those axes and hammers from, I mean many of them are american made one so how can you get them

Yes we are in Thailand, I am in a Facebook group about buying and selling second hand tools. A place where people bring in second-hand items both from within and outside the country to sell, which I think they probably buy from various websites.👍😁🙏
