@@ford1548 Well, not at Walmart prices. It really depends on which brand you might choose. For years there was a speaker sales, repair and component warehouse near my home. I loved to go there and pick out well-made cabinets and some or all of the speakers, grill cloths and other components. I could take a look and listen to their finished speakers that were build of the same cabinets and available speakers simply to aid my decisions. I wound up giving several speaker pairs to my friend and family. Sadly, like so many American specialty businesses, they folded when I wasn't looking.

As another who has dabbled in speaker building, seeing you put the round over on the ports is like watching someone peel the protective film off a piece of electronics. Pure ecstasy!

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I just recently started really using a table saw, and had a case of heebie jeebies and a flying piece of pvc. One thing stressed by safety folk is analyzing near misses. I encourage any and everyone to look up kick back: What causes it, what it causes, and how to prevent it.

blew my mind in one of his videos where he showed that all the POV shots are made using a camera mounted on a mouth grip he made, and he can't see very well while using the rig LOL

Very satisfying to watch. It's like watching a craftsman but letting power tools do all the tedious cutting and polishing. The end finish, particularly with the chamfering of the edges, was beautiful.

@@luke9822 you mean Nikola Tesla? Even DC brushless motors have to be powered from AC first and then put through a half wave rectifier, regardless of battery or cable connection

Looks very good. I always enjoy these jack of all trades type videos. I usually only do the woodworking side and don't really feel like getting into metal work or electronics anymore, but admire people that can do it all.

What I find most impressive is he still has all 10 fingers. Might I recommend a push stick? You are clearly capable enough to make one.

I hate to be the safety police guy but that set up and his feed discipline just give me the heebie jeebies, after witnessing a guy lose four fingers on his hand and a discharge from the army, no riving knife, push stick, wood surface -- no way.

How good you are at woodworking is just how good your tools are. Using a table saw allows you to get straight, flush, and precise cuts with ease. I'd like to see you build a straight box with a handsaw and no clamps

Hey dude...i been keeping an eye out for you since you did the scale pyramid build. You are a proper craftsman and the speaker in vid looks amazing. Most wouldn't realise how much time and work is involved. Really well explained, the editing, sound levels (which most uploaders get badly wrong) and general production is of a high order. It’s a phrase we use here in England, similar to the “dogs danglers”, or a ruder version is the “dogs bollocks”. All mean the same thing.😀
