They could have been cheap like certain other companies and use CGI. But no, these mad lads rigged a whole set just to make it real. This is art right here, this is visual poetry. Something modern marketing is losing grasp of as time moves on.

Words can't describe how happy I have felt with my SD, it's the best piece of tech I have bought in my life, no other device has given me the same joy. I despise simping for corporations, but if Valve keep up with the same consumer practices that they have shown with these devices, I will keep buying the next generation of devices to come without even thinking twice. I've been enjoying my OLED since February 9th like crazy, you guys did an amazing work with this system! The only downside is that, after I turn it on, all my games start updating (and I have almost a hundred of them).

After all these years... still not available in Australia

now that they're done with this, maybe they can release a tf2 update!!!!!

The Steam Deck OLED is quite simply the greatest bit of tech I ever owned, and still always finds new ways of blowing me away! Imagine if we ever got a full-length Valve-made single player gaming experience (or three), built with the Steam Deck (OLED) features in mind; The Steam Deck’s own Half-Life: Alyx moment.

Add a few camera around the orb, and that setup would probably be great for obtaining realistic scans of people and things, including evaluating the various characteristics required for producing PBR materials and such; or getting references for deep-fakes, NeRFs etc.
