I mean, there’s a lot of fathers in America right now, they would do the exact same thing that he did; and that is basically at its route, help his son try and get out of a major jam. I’m not saying that what he did was right, absolutely not. He shouldn’t have done it, and he’s paying for that right now, but, in the Mexican, American tradition, family is always the most important thing in your life, and many Mexican American fathers would’ve done the exact same thing for their son. Family is the cornerstone of what many of us are here for and it’s just what it is. Hopefully they find a way to give him a sentence that reflects he pretty much was just trying to help a very confused son, who had just made the worst mistake of his life. The people that are in a rage about him possibly getting away with something need not be, he’s not going to get away with anything. His life is effectively over until all of this is sorted out. He likely will go to prison for a short amount of time, but he will probably see the light of day again. His son on the other hand is up a much shittier creek. As well, he should be.
