OldTrafford there were bad decisions for both teams but they were still made at the right times for Chelsea to win when it could've been the other way round and should've been after what happened at Stamford bridge but at OldTrafford ManUtd should've been given a pen before the other bad calls when Zhirkov fouled ParkJiSung in the first half ManUtd could've equalised & possibly already been in front before the chance of Drogba's ridiculous offside goal came. ManUtd could've been level with a long time to play and momentum to win a game they only need to draw. But at Stamford bridge at 0-0 Rooney was clean through ONside but linesman puts the flag up for offside, JohnTerry also fouled AntonioValencia in the box at 0-0 no pen given, Chelsea's goal should've been disallowed for no fewer than 3 reasons (1) Wrongly awarded freekick (2)Drogba was effecting VanDerSar's view whilst in an offside position when the freekick is kicked towards goal (3)whilst he also shoved down WesBrown and the ball pretty much went all the way in Terry May have brushed it as he was credited with the goal. That 2009/10 season was the one ManUtd were most cheated (and it robbed ManUtd of a record 4 PL's in a row, but I think that's actually why the PL favoured Chelsea all year even in other games because they were desperately trying to prevent same winner 4 times because it looks boring but it's branded best & most unpredictable league in the World). Also I think Blackburn deserved 1994/95 but Arsenal 1997/98 were also lucky in similar way as Chelsea 2009/10 because again they don't stand a chance of winning the title without home&away wins vs ManUtd and the Highbury game Nov97 which Keane & Irwin were injured for (Keane missed most of the season and Bosvelt tried breaking Irwin's leg in CL a few days earlier) after going 2-0 down then pulling it back to 2-2 ManUtd had momentum and Scholes was fouled in the box by Winterburn but no pen given and then Winterburn assists Arsenal's late winner for Arsenal to win 3-2 so that decision gave Arsenal a 6 point swing and they still needed to nick another win vs half a ManUtd B-team at OldTrafford to win by 1 point in a season ManUtd lost really because of injuries which was heavily to do with competing in CL while Arsenal were out of UEFAcup straightaway that season. The ManCity 2012 one of course was unlucky but I think that was more self inflicted than 98 & 2010. Although it did involve Chelsea controversy again because Chelsea cheated Wigan so badly at Stamford bridge on April to the point that there was a lot of talk about small teams not getting decisions vs the big teams as Chelsea had won 2-1 with 2 illegal goals to Wigan's legit goal and everyone felt sorry for Wigan who were in a false position playing well but still in a relegation battle and then Wigan's next game happened to be vs ManUtd when ManUtd had only just opened up a commanding 8 point lead with 6 games left and it turned out to be the only points Wigan have ever got in the PL against ManUtd winning 1-0 from a wrongly awarded corner and ManUtd should've had a pen late on when there was a clear handball. It quickly cut the gap to 5pts and City were improving their GD a lot in the next few games ManUtd could realistically not allow City to gain on them again before the head-to-head game on MD36 but they did vs Everton 4-4 Evra had hit the post when it would've made the score 5-2. ManCity had the advantage after that. I still thought they were more worthy winners than the other teams who ManUtd narrowly lost the title to though. But injuries played a big part again like 97/98 & 09/10 (Rooney),11/12 Vidic missed loads of the season.
