Tbf SAF was an all time great but the squad he left to Moyes was no where near the caliber to compete for championship. Only SAF would. That’s why he is great and at the same time he retired and left the team that wasnt prepared for his retirement and had quite a few problems.

If it was Mourinho or Conte, I believe they will won a major trophy that season. Remember when Conte take over Chelsea squad after Mourinho second spell at Chelsea, the squad are the same, Diogo Costa, Pedro, Hazard, etc. And then Conte added Kante, Alonso & David Luiz. So I came up with a conclusion, that the problem is on David Moyes ego, and his mentality handling a big names on the team.
