Most people think Sirius or Remus are super musical, since Remus has a pretty speaking voice and Sirius always talks about being a rockstar. However, both of them are shit at singing. Yeah, Sirius can play instruments really well but both him and Moony sound like howling dogs when they try to sing. Remus writes really pretty stories and poetry and Sirius has perfect pitch and can memorize a song just by listening to it, replicating it perfectly on any instrument but his voice. You wanna know who can sing, tho? James. Fucking. Fleamont. Potter. He sounds like an angel with his deep, almost husky voice, and can hold his own on a guitar. Now, Peter. He’s an amazing artist. He can make anything look beautiful on canvas and parchment. Just give him a piece of parchment and a quill and you’ll have a portrait or landscape that looks so real, it’s almost like one of the moving portraits. So, essentially, Remus is an author and a poet and can write music, Sirius plays instruments beautifully and can play a song after hearing it only 3 times, James sounds like an angel or siren with how beautiful his voice is, and Peter likes to illustrate Remus’s scenes or potential covers for albums the Marauders will never release… idk, just… Artistic Marauders
