День томуWelcome to the coveted and highly anticipated fifth edition of the Marble League #ML2020, formerly known as the MarbleLympics, but before we get there, 20 teams must fight for their lives in the ever challenging Qualifiers!
Only 12 spots remain for the main tournament, with the only thing keeping our competitors from the chance at glory are four world class events! Teams must keep it together and test their teamwork in Balancing, take their stamina to the limit in Funnel Endurance, power through Block Pushing, and race for the finish line in the 5M Sprint! I'm a bit late to the Marble League, but I knew things were going south when I saw Snowflake on the starting line of the 5m Sprint (but not like south as in the South Pole because that sort of climate would have been good for the Snowballs). After what we saw in the Marbula One, it should have been Snowy. Coach Blizzard desperately needs to reevaluate things ahead of next season.

yea, I believe its because with all the new popularity they wanna make sure that they are prepared. Also, qualifiers can be really competitive and when teams don't make it the fans can really get really crazy!!

The gate malfunction did affect Momo, #gogomomo, but I think it should be noted how team Primary didn't even try to push the block, instead looking back to make sure Momo was ok.They may be competitors, but they both have a unique relationship amongst teams.

I started rooting for them in some random event where they finished 5th I think, some Marbela1 race if I recall correctly. Mostly because I'm a "savage speeder" myself in RocketLeague, going for speed and demos all the time haha. But I'm pretty happy with my choice. Frustrated when they are reckless but happy when they go all-in like no other team ;) Also, they are usually really bad at Balancing so it's nice to see a solid performance here for once too! I suppose running on top of all the race dividers have been good "practice" haha, despite losing time and causing me heart problems.

For all the newcomers wondering if three team is competing here: Teams in marbula 1 are ML teams, so there ether competing today to qualify, there auto qualified, or have been relegated to the showdown. If they are auto qualified, they will be in the practice round tomorrow. If they were relegated, they will compete in the showdown after the ML. Go to the community tab to see which teams have to see all the teams and where they will compete. LMS teams are not part of the ML, so you will not see them here.

To add: Team Galactic, the Raspberry Racers, Green Ducks, and Hazers are all auto qualified, either from being the hosts (Galactic) or placing on the podium in last year's ML (Racers, Ducks, Hazers).

Momary is probably one of the most wholesome rivalries out there. I don't even care about the big names that constantly get high showings, there's just something about team primary and team momo that's more _real_ and genuine somehow. Really sad to see primary won't get to compete this year... Nor my backup favorites the pinkies.

I actually wasn't aware that this was a real rivalry, but as a Momo fan myself, Primary is always the team I'm hoping we'll beat. While it is a shame we won't be able to compete against them in the ML2020, I'm honestly glad we just barely pushed them out. TEAM MOMO!

Momary was a real show of sportsmanship. I'm a Hazers fan, but Momary got my heart and was really hoping for Momo and Primary to make it both. After the first leg I was devasted, knowing what hard work Momo put in over the last years, and in the end it was Primary who didn't do it...

Hi marbles, Coach Truffle here. Here's my report on the performance of the Chocolatiers today. Admittedly, our team's performance today was disappointing. All our members put in an admirable amount of effort, but in the end our placement fell just short of expectations. Choc's leadership wasn't sufficient to ensure that our performance was up to par with what we've been seeing in our training sessions leading up to these events. Going forward, I am confident that he will be able to pull the boys back together and we will come back stronger than ever. Our fellow marbles did great today, I am proud of every marble at this competition and looking forward to the remainder of this Marble League.

"Momo, best finish of 4th in the first Marble League in which they competed back in 2016, but my goodness, it's been up and down since then." Momo proceeds to get second-to-last, then first, then last place following an equipment malfunction, only to barely qualify with a mediocre finish in the final event. Don't blame Mary, if you look at the first funnel event, Team Momo didn't even finish. officials mixed up the silver ball bearing and Team Momo. at 11:48, you can see Team Momo isn't in the finish cup or track. that would've put Team Momo last, and bumped Team Primary into qualifying. Hopefully the officials fix this grave injustice moving forward.

pharynx007 First of all Team Momo did finish. It’s clear that it was Team Momo against The O’rangers in the last funnel, as the ball bearing was in the top green funnel ( it’s shown in the very top left of the screen). If they did mix up Team Momo and the ball bearing (which they didn’t) Team Momo would have a much higher timestamp.

when I decided I wanted to support the limers those years ago, I had no idea how much sadness I was going to put myself through. they have got to be the most frustrating team to support of the lot. but I have too much loyalty and the pain goes on. but next year just please let every team get to the qualifiers it just seems so unnecessary to leave out 4 or 5 teams.

Naturally. My fav is the Chocolatiers, but I've rooted for the Bumblebees since their times in Hubelino. Even if my team didn't make it, I'm gonna have a blast on supporting the Bumblebees this year. In the first funnel event where team momo was given the win, they weren't in the end cup when the silver ball bearing hit. they should've been given the same points as jungle jumpers, thus knocking them to last place.

Hi Jelle, I have a question: Why did you change the way the 5m sprint is filmed? In previous ML videos it was filmed as one continuous shot where you follow the marbles down the track, which made the race more intense and exciting and also easier to follow. Now it's harder to see who is in the lead and who is passing who. For ML 2020, I hope you can go back to the previous way of filming it :) That being said, I'm a HUGE fan of your marble races, and I've been waiting eagerly for ML 2020 to begin! Thanks for all of your efforts in putting these together!

I am Italian, and when my country didn't qualify for the last FIFA World Cup it felt really bad, but I enjoyed the games anyway, for the sake of sport and fun. I am doing it even more now with the #ML2020, but let's face it: the fail of Rojo Rollers to qualify is a tough blow. Something feels missing in this season; more, I dare to say, than it felt when Italy didn't qualify for the World Cup.

yeah, snowflake was terrible in marbula one why did they think snowflake could do better here? Snowy nearly tied speedy in the racer standings, snowflake on the other hand was in 28th with 8 measly points. (snowy alone would have had enough points to place 6th without snowflake)

They shouldn't have qualified though. The officials mixed up the silver ball bearing and Team Momo in the first funnel event. if you look at 11:48 Team Momo isn't there. they must've fallen off the track and the video missed it.

@@pharynx007 Check the color correction on your monitor; a green marble was the last to fall into the finishing tray. If it was the Ball Bearing, its final color in the tray would've reflected the O'Ranger, the Snowball, and the Rojo Roller next to it, but it did not, retaining a uniform green hue. Therefore, it had to have been Team Momo.

These marbles know what they're signing up for. Leap was being very aggressive in building up speed to maximize his funnel spinning. That's a price they're willing to pay when competing for the greatest honor a marble can earn.

I heard there was a conspiracy against the Jungle Jumpers by the last year's host the Oceanics. Looks like they were blackmailed last season to lower their performance so that the Jungle jumpers manager can make money from illegal bets. I think this was Oceanics way of getting back. I don't know these are just rumours...for now.

Holy Cow! The block pushing event with Team Momo and Team Primary was jaw-dropping. The gate malfunctioned, but if that wasn't enough Team Primary hit their block with such force that they sent it sailing into the other lane! Maybe it was luck or some other force at work, but the Momo's might have been squashed under the block if they hadn't been stopped.

Their performance alone clears up some things for the fans: 1. Any team can be a title contender. 2. The league is not rigged, teams have their ups and downs and they pretty much rely on luck. Some teams are just consistently lucky.
