Absolutely, Mariah skates with incredible passion. She is one with the music and ice. Puts tears in my eyes..

She's definitely capable of doing 2 triple triple combos (3F3T and 3Lz3T) and 3FEu3S sequence

@@deede2000 Yes, I agree she can increase her technical component. I think, she only did what she felt comfortable doing in this FS at the moment. I suspect she is working her way back to the program's "full tech content", it just takes a bit of time to settle into a new (even if it is old) program. IMO, this demonstrates Mariah is taking the season seriously and wants to fight for her spot on the team. I think she, and her team, have made the correct decision to let go of her original 2021 FS program and go back to the program she would have skated at Worlds in Montreal.

Praying she can do this tomorrow and be the US Champ!

@@user-ly6kd2tk5w Это понятно, но в какой-то мере, лично я могу понять в отношении именно вот таких девочек как Мэрайя Белл или Луна Хендрикс - это очень красиво и видно, что от души, даже помарки не портят захватывающий эффект который выдает именно эта девочка. Исключительно приятное фигурное катание и вращения в духе старой "школы", чем сейчас злостно пренебрегают. Такой уровень погружения в наши дни редко увидишь. Дело даже не в прыжках, а именно в технике катания и вращений в сочетании с музыкой, у Мэрайи они воистину волшебно сочетаются с программой, причём все прокаты, что я видел, было так. Плюс она всегда улыбается и видно, что от души наслаждается тем, что делает. На такие прокаты смотреть очень приятно. Между драйвовыми квадами Александры, методичными от Камилы, я бы предпочел посмотреть и на вот такое катание, чтобы просто выдохнуть от напряжения :)

@@user-ly6kd2tk5w Не, танцы вообще мимо меня, там крайне редко есть пара которая мне бы вообще нравилась хотя бы внешне, я уж молчу про катание. Разве что Дэвис и Смолкин порадовали в этом сезоне :) Собственно, я говорил о том, что лишним такое катание тоже не будет, вот и всё. Понятно что на золото ЧМ и ОИ с таким контентом претендовать не получится,

She doesn’t need 2 triple triples she already has six triples in the free skate. One triple triple will put her up to 7 triples which is as good as she can get, two triple triples is too risky without any benefit

Согласен, захватывает сочетание музыки, скольжения и вращений в особенности. Чувствуется, что тренировали по технике старой "Школы". Но главное, видно что девочке самой очень нравится что она делает, на такое всегда приятно посмотреть :)

Most of her jumps (especially her combinations) are under-rotated bro💀 not defending the Russians bc they’re obviously struggling with technique, but the state of US ladies fs is just as sad lol

Maiia no es consistente y sus componentes no son muy altos, si Bell hubiese patinado sin pequeños errores en su SP tenía unos 73 y si patinaba limpio su FP obtenía unos 146 puntos (y eso que no menciono las décimas en los scores). Yo creo q Bell le ganaba a Maiia por 1 punto o décimas. Maiia hizo su trabajo, pero también Bell necesitaba hacer su trabajo y sacar a Maiia del podio. Sakamoto y Usacheva (antes de lesionarse) demostraron que las chicas sin 3A o quads, también pueden tener alto puntaje y dar pelea. En mi opinión Bell también podría hacerlo.

Not really, good GOE's add up really fast plus the PCS is just about right (but if I'm honest I believe it should be a little bit higher lol) but that's because her technical elements (jumps) aren't as amazing or technically exciting to see like doing quads or triple axels which affect the PCS a little bit but not by much. Good quality elements (jumps, spins, etc) are important in figure skating especially if the skater doesn't have quads or triple axels.

@@davidportillodavila Are all her jumps fully rotated? Does she have the most and high quality transitions in her skating? Does she actually have high quality jumps? You can't tell me this performance deserves 140 points when other skaters like wakaba barely earned 140 points with 3A and triple triple competitions.

@@triplea_qgb1963 Well just because you have high technical content doesn't really mean your going to get a high score. Maybe on the technical side of figure skating yeah but PCS is very important as well even positive GOEs make a good impact on the score. You have to include artistry in this sport as well because Mariah Bell's elements matched the really well and she made her elements look effortless and beautiful. There are lots of skaters who have high technical content but the elements don't match up with the music at all and it affects the PCS and GOEs.

@@triplea_qgb1963 Well Wakaba is surely underscored in every chance she got to skate. I mean look at 7 triples program from Zhenya for example. She got like 155 - 160 several times. I mean if anything other feds should look at how to maximize scores like the Russian do, maybe consistency? Politics? IMO with what Maiia got vs delivered in that competition, Mariah score could be justified.

@@yohanes2034 If Mariah had done at least a triple-triple, then this score is more reasonable. She received extremely generous scores for what she did here at Rostelecom in my opinion. The Russians are more consistent so I can see why the judges would give them a boost in scores here and there, even though consistency should not be a factor in scores. However, Mariah is not consistent and also has lower technical content. This is not fair in my opinion that she can get such a high score and other skaters have to do twice as much (land 3A and more triple triple combinations) to be in the similar range of scores.
