Omg...I knew there was something weird about this video...you guys notice how the outfit she's wearing is not something Electra Heart would typically wear, and that this is the first time she's ever sang Lies with the added verse? I think it's because she was foreshadowing Electra's death here. In the extra verse, she sings "I know now...we're not meant to be...if I'm not number one then I'd rather be lonely..." These are things that Electra would never admit, because she would never accept being the other woman. As the album progresses, however, we see that Electra begins to mature and realize that she can't have it all, she can't have any guy she wants, etc. In this video, Marina portrays a much more mature version of her that is accepting her demise.

This is her best performance of Lies to date. Amazing vocals, amazing instrumentals and the bridge is my favourite thing. If you don't think Marina is talented, you're wrong. Damn.
