its because of the FOV, and they didnt notice the marker saying 25m. pause at 2:07 and look how close the hand is to the screen. siege is max 90 FOV whereas humans actually have about 180 or so. anyone who has shot a pistol in real life knows u dont put the pistol that close to ur face. u can do the same thing with ur own hand and see how close u would need to place ur hand to get the same thing as in the game. since it's so "zoomed in" in the game, it looks like 100m to them (plus theyre looking at a TV from far away). so what's happening is they're judging it as if the screen was their real-life FOV and assuming the guy is holding the gun properly about 2 ft away from his face, but in actuality the game "zooms in", which we cant do with our eyes

@@ghosthunter0404 actually that was because of some fucked up proportions in the game. They estimated the distance based on the proportions of the target compared to the sight. You'd get those proportions at around 100m in real life with how a soldier holds their gun, but between the fact the in game you hold pistols stupidly close to your face, the fov was probably a little weird and the proportions weren't perfect, that estimation ended up being wrong. All because of the game's fuck up and not the soldier's. Also, what you said about the accuracy of a 9mm in 100-200m is bullshit. If the gun was zeroed at say 50m then you're gonna have to adjust your aim for those 50m of difference. Also, 9mm was designed for 50m distance in particular, at least for pistols. Maybe the 100-200 meters you saw was from a submachine gun firing 9mm, but trust me there's a huge difference in accuracy between an smg and a pistol due to having longer barrel. And even then, you would have to account for bullet drop. Please don't talk about shit you know absolutely nothing about, especially if you're acting like you know better than a professional
