Love how Strike matches are held in a pocket dimension and how two stadiums can become one. As crazy as it is, this does seem safer than skydiving onto the field...

Even as a Rosalina fan, I think Daisy definitely deserved to be on the roster more than she did 😭

As much as I fear Daisy, a staple in the Mario Strikers series as much as Wario, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong, will be regulated to a free update, I seriously hope they don't forget her. Or heck, do the Camelot approach and have her be part of the base game at the game's launch like they did with Rosalina in Mario Golf Super Rush and unfortunately have her unlockable. It just doesn't feel right to not see her as part of the main character roster.

While my criticism is that there’s not enough characters (probably saved for the free DLCS), I’m still excited for this games thanks to the amazing graphics, gameplay, and how the new abilities are handled

I'm kinda sad Daisy doesn't appear to be in this considering she's the sporty one, nonetheless this game looks fire

With the amount of comments talking about Daisy, I hope Nintendo takes notice already.

I love how they completely disregard Daisy from this game when she's been in Super Mario Strikers for the gamecube and the Mario Strikers for the Wii

im gonna hold off on buying if Daisy isnt in it Daisy's personality was solidified in this series and it seems wrong to have a game without her.

This looks amazing, and I'm thrilled that Strikers is finally back, but there REALLY needs to be more characters, whether unlockable or as updates. The Mario universe has such a massive cast of characters and species, it's disappointing to see the same few every time without much variety, especially when there are less here than in Charged. Daisy's the glaring omission, but Chargin' Chuck would be a PERFECT new addition. Hopefully there's more coming in the future.

I definitely prefer the captain/sidekick layout. Having everyone on the field as a main character feels a bit overwhelming. The concept of 3 hammer bros existing or 4 toads also made sense. & even though the sidekicks were, well, sidekicks, they were still brimming with personality & were aptly given their time to shine.

This game looks very enjoyable but, like everyone else has said, they should add more playable characters at some point in time. There's a very decent amount of characters they could choose. My top five would be Daisy, Diddy Kong, Birdo, Pauline, and Bowser Jr.

It's amazing to see Strikers coming back, but I don't know if I'm a huge fan of making mostly all main icons as the team captain and teammates but it may just be my nostalgia for minion characters as your teammates. And I'm also feeling like there's something missing with the art style overall. It's SO close but it feels like there was sort of a 'safe' approach that I can't exactly explain...

Strikers is the game that made me a Daisy fan, sad to see she didn't make the initial roster.

Back when servers were live on the Wii I was a monster playing with daisy online and was striker of the day many times. Seeing she’s not in base game hurts so much.

I would like that Daisy was in the beginning instead of Toad but considering the possibility of free DLC characters maybe Nintendo thought that Daisy would have a better welcome than Toad as a DLC character.

I have been picking Daisy since I was 10 years old as my go to character. Cant really see myself enjoying the game until they add her. So I'll wait until they do. :)

Almost everything here is great. The only thing that has me worried is that there are only 10 characters. What I was thinking was that maybe some of the sidekicks would become their own captain like Toad. Either way, there is Daisy and Petey. Those two are a good choice for adding some more characters. I'm excited, but still cautious about the game overall.

Considering how they had to remove Daisy's "Whatever!" Line from Super Rush, I have a feeling that Next Level Games was having some trouble getting Daisy in due to how modern Nintendo feels about her attitude. I definitely think that if this game sells well, they'll add more charatcers in though.

A lot of people have been waiting for years for this game to come back and this is the best thing they could come up with?....this game is a joke and should have been delayed until it's actually finished rather than incomplete. Who ever is making these decisions should be held accountable.

Roster's a bit small for a 4v4 game where each member is from the base roster. Maybe add at least 5 characters, including Daisy obviously, and it will be much better.

This game looks amazing, and I am super hyped for it. However, I am still hoping for a few more characters. It is hard to imagine they will only include ten playable characters. Especially considering the last installment had twelve captains, plus sidekicks.

It's disappointing that there are only 10 characters. The game will likely only be entertaining for about 20 hours facing the same handful of opponents. A game like this should have about 40 or 50.

I hope there are more characters to unlock, because if there isn't, leaving Daisy off the roster is downright criminal, lol

1:06 really took the chills out of me (or how you say it) There are a lot of games that makes you care about the stats, but it gets me more when it's about technique than about stats. The team tackle feels really like a creative rule that decides how this game is played without breaking too much into stats. Stats are great in games to up your game, but when it's too much nuanced, I can get very blurry and indecisive in a game. Not wat you want when a game is action-based right?

Definitely looking forward, they should add the outfits from strikers charged. It had some pretty good character designs from what I remember. Bowsers was probably my favorite one.

so... I rlly love the Strikers series (specially Charged) and I'm really happy it's back, but: - Only items used here were green/red shells, bananas and a reworked bob-omb, most of previous items are missing - Only ten characters, all of which seems like our previous characters but a bit tonned down since there doesn't seem to be the unique special habilities pickup we had and their dribles seem very simplified - No sidekicks? They were not only a huge deal previously but also the ones we'd play the most on the field, not to mention that every single one had a unique personality - No Daisy or Petey - No map hazards which were a huge and important mechanic previously, all maps shown here look like a copy of Stadium I guess I'll wait for the game to come out before purchasing it

On its own, the game definitely looks solid. As someone who has played the original and charged it is pretty different so I can’t wait to see how this game makes its own identity.

2:07 The remix of the Mario Strikers Charged menu theme has me super nostalgic. it's somehow been 15 years since Charged came out and to hear that familiar theme when I thought Strikers would never come back makes me so happy! I'm just hoping there are stadium hazards and more characters on the way, but really looking forward to this!

Honestly this gives me esport potential vibes. I really hope this game can be competitive enough to warrant an actual esport, and that Nintendo actually supports it. I mean, Striker Club season tournaments? That's definitely a start. And if you can have 4 players on a team, that means you can actually get an organization for this team. The only things I can see being a bit of a hinderance tot his are probably the unlockable costumes (even though the stat boosts could encourage different loadouts to be used against other teams, which incorporates a degree of strategy) and *maybe* the hyper strikes, for the same reason as why Final Smash is disabled in Smash Ultimate tournaments It has potential at the very least, but we just have to see. I really do hope it comes to that point. Pro competitive Mario Strikers sounds amazing

Looks amazing. Mario Strikers Charged Football was one of my favorite Wii games, so I am looking forward for this being on the switch.

Feels off to have Daisy in particular absent for an entry in this series seeing as how her personality fit in so well with the hyper competitive vibe. Almost certain new characters will be added as free dlc like Tennis Aces which disappoints cause it just takes away from the launch.

I love how the changes that have been made are mainly just additions. Nintendo seems to really be pushing games that are more free flowing and don’t have random interruptions from normal gameplay. Like how a lot of the smash attacks in smash ultimate are automatic and faster. It just seems to keep you in the moment more

hopefully they will add Daisy or at least Daisy will be playable eventually (maybe as unlockable characters)
