For the first time ever on this channel we jump onboard the iconic MD-11.
Take a look inside the cockpit of the legendary Martinair Cargo McDonnall Douglas MD-11F departing from Amsterdam Schiphol.
Take-off at 05:20
Flight started on the cargo S-apron on Schiphol east. Next we taxied out to take-off from runway 24 followed by a BERGI1S departure heading west towards the UK and the atlantic. 9 hours later the flight arrived in Miami.
The McDonnall Douglas MD-11 has played a major part in Dutch aviation, but is now unfortunately part of history.
KLM retired their last one in 2014 and subsequently Martinair send their last one away in July 2016, indicating the end of an era.
