This movie made me cry because I understand what it feels like to get pushed out and get hurt by people you think are friends so you stop opening up to them or even stop talking to them because you know that you're going to get hurt

That movie is SO hard to watch alone for a second time. But, It was a BEAUTIFUL experience when i watched it for the first time. Maybe, if i get reborn in this world/universe, I hope i can watch it again with someone.

As someone who has a very hard time feeling emotions, I come back to this video everytime, and it always hurts me just as bad as when I first watched it.

Now I know for a fact we all got a lil mad when he didn’t understand her saying I love you to him 💀

Making irrational decisions, bad choices. Regretting them later on, getting depressed and ultimately left alone without friends until he stood up and lived with those facts. He started to love the girl he was confused about and disgusted of because of the hearing problems she has. She loving him back. Both of them went through a phase where they wanted to commit a suicide but always survived thanks to someone, later on they were helping each other to live and i love it. She wanted to commit suicide because of what she thought about herself (being a dead weight) but Shoya helped Shouko out of that dark area of life. They leaned on each other and later on were not afraid of being more open to each other. They left the end pretty open so people can choose however they want. For me since they even said that they will help each other live (and since they took liking in each other) they ended together after all the stuff they went through. It is just like real life. It is hard to find someone to talk to that will seriously listen to you and the same from the other side but once you find someone like that, you can not be afraid to lean on other people. I freakin LOVED this movie :) I just wish there were more of them similarly done like this one. Masterpiece in my opinion. Just felt like writing about this movie (a silent voice) here, hope you do not mind. :)

I didn't know if I should say the beauty of the anime or the song.

I have never seen such a perfect combination of song and anime.

I love this movie because it goes out of everybody's comfort zone, it doesn't fuck around with how reality is, and how long it takes for someone to have that realisation of "oh... I fucked up" and shows how that effects them. Most anime would tell it from the pov of the bullied one, rather than the bully, but this anime doesn't fuck around and I love it. It shows rlly 'bad' ppl are ppl too, and in most cases that good people just make bad life decisions, that no matter how much bad shit they do, they still have feelings and can grow and mature and change opinions. They can also redeem themselves if they truly mean it and if ppl are willing to listen, not to excuses, but explanations and attempts to make it up to them. In this essay I will-- 💀

Why did I feel like I wanted to cry after the song ended

If there are people wondering the anime is called “a silent voice” and it’s a movie. And it’s beautiful. Another good movie to watch after that one is “I want to eat your pancreas” Ik how that must sound to people who are barely hearing of it, but it has a deep meaning behind it.

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart.

Whenever I see this amv on my recommended I immediately click on it and listen to it at least 3-4 times before watching what I was originally going to watch. This song and anime I connect with on a really personal level and it just gives that certain feeling yk. Amazing

Despite shôya relentlessly bullying shoko, he realizes that what he’s done was wrong and feels immense guilt for it and self loathes himself for causing her so much pain, yet she still forgives him and wants to be his friend. This is why the choice of music fits so well with the anime. By the way, you did a great job on the amv and it made me feel all the emotions I did when I first started watching the anime 🥰
